World AIDS Day observed!!!

Firstly, THANK YOU for coming last evening to the launch of SAHAYA Youth Against AIDS! Because you came, you already made a difference.

The response was fantastic: 82 people and MTV and Staying Alive Foundation are going to be our potential partners in the call for youth action. We at American India Foundation are grateful for your time and support for this pressing cause.

Next Steps: We believe you should lead this effort and would like to invite 25 nominations by the end of this year (please feel free to nominate yourself) to help us select a Leadership Group of 8-10 people. If you are interested please tell us in 3-4 sentences about how your leadership would make a difference and about your interest in the cause. We hope our selection of the core group represents a diversity of interests and backgrounds and talent represented in the room yesterday.
AIF has already made its commitment known; I am delighted to tell that I will be anchoring the SAHAYA program and look forward to your creative ideas, energy and support!

This is our first step together to march ahead to combat HIV/AIDS in India. To voice your thoughts please visit: www.aif-sahaya.blogspot.com
You can email us at sahaya@aifoundation.org

I got to meet and greet some of you personally and some I could not. I look forward to seeing you and talking to you the next time!

Best,
Bhuvana

PS: I request you to kindly pass this note to the friends who accompanied you or I can fwd the same, if you send me their emails.
